Question

Some podcasts play on cellular data, some do not on new iPhone 12 Pro.

I just purchased a new iPhone 12 Pro, and I have been experiencing some weird stuff with my Apple podcast streaming: some of my podcasts will stream on cellular data, others will not. The podcasts that do not play on cellular data will immediately play when connected to WiFi. Anyone else having this problem? if so, what was the solution?

It has to do with the settings in iPhone Settings>Podcasts (left frame). The options noted by sloppy blue arrows need to be correlated re mobile data use and auto downloading. Each Show has an auto download option too.

EDIT: I found a fix. Ditch Apple Podcasts and download Google Podcasts. Everything plays as it should. Good job, Apple. Good job.
