My Macbook Pro 2019 Catalina recently got a pop-up message to install the latest version of Java. I've seen the Java pop-up before, but this time it was in Chinese, which is odd because my system is in U.S. English.
I found a similar screenshot from someone else who also experienced this within the last week. Is this a cause for concern, e.g. disguised malware?

That is fake.
The only Java update you should get is from http://www.java.com/
Do not attempt to download it from any other source, as it could be a phishing attempt.
I also facing the same pop-up. How do I delete? block? or remove this prompter? so that I won't accidentally press 'Install Update'
