From address in mail

I have a new MacBook Pro in the new mail that I have setup, in the From the Address there is an email address that is not mine and I can't get rid of it ***@me.com I have to insert Reply to.

Is there anyway that I can change this?

Thanks

What is "me.com"?

The domain me.com is for iCloud, and if it is used, that depends on when you created you Apple Account. Learn more here: iCloud: About your @icloud.com, @me.com, and @mac.com eMail Addresses - Apple Support

No, it means I’d rather not spend a chunk of my time posting what may be irrelevant or confusing info.

Details here matter.

If this is a new-to-you not not new, then there are reset procedures that may have been missed.

If this is a new Mac, then those reset procedures should not apply to this case.

Where Apple has placed the email configuration varies by macOS version, too.

Etc.
