Apple ID Glitched during iWatch Pairing

I updated my Apple ID since i no longer have access to the original email address that it was associated with. When I tried to pair my iwatch to my iphone, show up the old email address showed up as the default... and when i tried to cancel the pairing, the iwatch is showing it is associated with the old email address/Apple ID, even though i never completed the pairing... now i am unable to finish pairing my watch with my ID... I have been the primary owner of both device and everywhere I've read, my watch is now useless!! Please help!
