I'm trying to install Windows 10 using Bootcamp. I'll get as far as the Windows Setup screen and "Copying Windows files (0%)" and then the computer will abruptly restart. I've spent hours trying to figure out the problem - I even went so far as to erase the computer hard drive, reinstall Big Sur, and try to bootcamp off of a completely clean install. What am I doing wrong?

macOS Big Sur has many issues. You may want to consider installing macOS Catalina and retrying BC Assistant.

Downgrading to Catalina worked! Now that it’s set up is it safe to upgrade again to Big Sur, or is that a bad idea?
You should be able to upgrade to Big Sur. If you run into any issues, please post back.
