Deleting apps

I cannot delete an app via home screen, nor via app library nor even via storage. The option just disappeared completely. Also I’m running low on storage and completely freaking out.

Software version is 14.4.2

iPhone SE, iOS 14

Thanx. Unfortunately, there’s no option to delete an app, as you can see on screenshot here or in original question, only to remove from home screen :(

It became a problem when I updated the software I think.

No screen restrictions there either.

I managed just fine for many years w/my iphone, just like they do in that gif, the problem is very new.

First disable the Screen Time Restrictions, if any.

There are six possibilities

  1. Delete an offloaded App
  2. Delete an App from the Home Screen
  3. Remove an App from the Home Screen - Will be placed in the App Library
  4. Delete an App from the App Library
  5. Delete an inbuilt App - Not feasible
  6. Delete an inbuilt App with one feature - You do not get any options either (e.g. Magnifier)
