What to use...make/model/where to buy...USB 3.0 4-Port Hub + USB-C Cable for iMac 2017
I just would like to know your recommendations for a USB 3.0 4-Port Hub + USB-C Cable
that is compatible with this iMac 2017 5k retina...I have tried two so far but the iMac went haywire!

i use a SABRENT Multi-Port iMac Hub. it works good and, as a bonus, i don't need to reach behind the iMac anymore.
Just about any hub will work with the iMac. Please explain the issues you are having.

Thank you for your answer...I plugged a powered USB 4 port product into the computer and all the computer USB's (including the new gadget) didn't work. also, the mirrored screen went into meltdown - the image was skewed and did't aline properly - that's why I was looking for an Apple product compatible with the computer. I need it for latency issues - drawing down files quickly/fast from SSD T7. I run music software.
