Repair options for third-party products purchased at Apple Store.

Purchased a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 35 headphones (special edition for Apple) from the Apple Store just over a year ago. Unfortunately, the right cup stopped working recently and no longer plays sound.

I assume the standard 1-year warranty applied, but I would like to get them repaired. If I take them back to the Apple Store, will they have them repaired, or must I contact Bose directly for repairs?

Not to worry, as soon as the Bose cans went south, I immediately bought a pair of AirPod Max cans, so I'm not without my tunes.

Yep, and that's what I ended up doing. Not a simple process. After this experience, I'm very unsure of the value of buying third-party products from the Apple Store. I could have received more convenient service buying from one of the big electronics stores. Several years ago, I bought a pair of Bose Soundlink cans from a nearby E store. When they broke, I took them back to the store. They accepted them, handled all the Bose paperwork, and called me when they were ready to be picked up.

Thanks for the link to Bose Support. It got the return process going for me!
