icloud Service Terms and Condition from China

Why a citizen in Malaysia is being asked to agree with terms and condition for iCloud services from China mainland operated by GCBD?

My iCloud was operated by wrong company Hi, I have registered my Apple ID in 2010 and the region of my Apple ID is United States. I subscribed iCloud about 2 or 3 years ago with PayPal. But something wrong with iCloud today. There are new Apple ID suggestions "iCloud in China mainland is operated by GCBD(AIPO Cloud (Guzhou) Techology Co.ltd). This allows us to continue to improve iCloud services in China mainland and comply with Chinese regulations" in my iPhone. I don't know why my iCloud was operated by GCBD? I have tried contact Apple support many times but I can't connect with the calls. I don't know what can I do now, so I just post the help here. Please Apple specialist reply or send email me. Thanks.

I am being prompted to accept terms and conditions agreement while in China I'm so worried and shocked. Why is Apple asking me to agree to these terms and conditions after being in China for 2 months?! I have been to China 8 times before, but never this long and was never prompted. does Apple migrate user data back and forth for every traveler that goes to China? I need someone's help to get this notification to stop popping up. I'm really concerned for my privacy. Thank you [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Is Apple iCloud compliant to GDPR? I work for a large European agency that is abandoning all iCloud services because they think that Apple is NOT compliant and that Apple store European data on US or other country personal data. Can someone confirmer not this ? Thanks Giuseppe
