iPhone 6s Plus earpiece not working

So just to round this off, I thought the problem was likely to be the Front Camera / Proximity Sensor cable because the Proximity Sensor was detached from it. However I took the phone to a repair shop today and they tried that and it didn't fix anything. They believed the circuit board is damaged. The good thing is they didn't charge me for their time!

So as I said before, I didn't think it was the actual Earpiece Speaker but I know what it is now and can move on with my life LOL

Thank you for your reply, it seems they must be quite fragile then. I can't think what I've done that could have damaged it. I understand you shouldn't touch the contacts (which I probably did) but can this damage them?

The other thing is the flex cables...

Thanks for that, yes my experience with this phone is to just pay and get Apple to do things. I replaced the screen before and it worked but it was an after-market item and only lasted a couple of years. When that died I got another screen but was impatient trying to get the earpiece speaker to work and damaged the circuit board. I decided to have it fixed and it was away for 3 months and when I got it back not only did the earpiece not work but the camera as well

I took the plunge and opened it up and got the camera working again but there are two screws missing out of the holding plates and the screws are all the wrong size except the tiny ones

I already bought a new phone but wanted to give this one to my father. He thinks a $100 phone is expensive but then gets frustrated when it won't do what its supposed to!
