Macbook pro won't detect usb mic anymore after update

Hi. I installed a system update yesterday, and my MacBook won't detect my USB mic anymore. I don't remember was the system was, but it was updated to Big Sur 11.3

Then I installed another update Big Sur 11.3.1 thinking it may fix the bug, but that didn't work.

Anyone knows how to solve this please?

problem with logic recognizing USB mic Hi community, I just did a software upgrade to Big Sur 11.3 and Logic doesn't recognize my Blue Yeti mic. I can turn off my Mac and turn it on with the mic already plugged in but it's not really practical. I'm using Logic 10.6.2. Any advice for getting Logic to recognize my USB mic? Thanks in advance!

Blue Snowball mic no longer recognised. Suddenly, from one day to the next, the Blue Snowball mic was not recognised by my Mac. I have version 10.14.5 . I use the mic intermittently, and it has always worked fine. Now suddenly... pouf! I finished a project one day and its gone now I want to start a new one. It does not show up as an input device in System Preferences -> Sound . I have rammed the USB connection in almost to breaking point, so I know it is not loose, then tried different ones - anyway the power is good as the red light comes on. From previous posts I see I am not the only one with this problem. Surely this is not built in obsolescence? That's criminal these days when we want to reduce our consumption of the world's resources.

I was using a usb-c to usb-c cable. It worked when I tried a usb-c to usb cable with an usb c hub
