Can't sync all contacts from phone to macbook

I tried to follow the instructions with how some of my contacts may be in a group. But my settings doesn't have a groups section in contacts.

Contacts syncing to mac from iphone I am not able to get my contacts on my phone over to my mac. I think it has something to do with the fact that my icloud group account only has a few contacts in it. My gmail group account is where all of my contacts are. Is there a way to merge these groups or get my mac to be the same as my iphone. Some things I've searched or tried want me to make my iphone match my mac when I want it the other way around. I am not sure if something got messed up during the set up process but when I got an ipad, and synced it with my phone the ipad matched everything on my phone. How do I fix this and make my mac match my phone?

only some contacts from iphone are syncing to imac Tale as old as time, but reading old posts hasn't helped...I have a bunch of contacts on my iphone that are not getting ported to my imac. The weird thing is that at least one of the missing contacts is in the iCloud group when I toggle groups to only show iCloud contacts. I figured maybe only the non-icloud contacts weren't syncing, but that doesn't apear to be the case. Also, how do I bulk update my contacts to put them all in the group that syncs to my mac? I just want them all everywhere, doesn't seem like it should be that complicated =-/

Group contacts not syncing to iPhone from Mac Big Sur 11.1 Why do all my Groups show NO MEMBERS on iPhone. I've turned off and then on again the iCloud setting on the iPhone for storing Contacts in iPhone. I've restarted both my mac and my iPhone. HELP PLEASE!
