Homepod mini won't play apple music

Homepod mini has stopped playing apple music. Will only play music from my library. Hey Siri is working but if I, for example , say "Hey Siri" play the Rolling Stones" it replies it can't find The rolling stones in apple music.

Try this...

From your iPhone, iPad, or computer running macOS, locate the Home app.

    1. Tap the Home app icon to open the app
    2. Locate the room where your HomePod is located
    3. Press and hold on the HomePod's icon to access settings
    4. Tap the gear icon at the bottom of the first page to enter Settings
    5. Scroll to 'Music & Podcasts" and tap on "Primary User"
    6. Tap on the person to select as the Primary User
    7. In the "HomePod Account" settings, note which user is logged in.
    8. Tap "Sign Out" to change the user account to be associated with this HomePod.
    9. OR
    10. Tap "Sign In" to assign an AppleID for Siri to use with this HomePod.

NOTE: The Primary User and the AppleID do not have to the same.

We’re all frustrated with this. I thought the issue was fixed. I had issue that Siri on HomePod couldn’t find Music , despite me being able to find directly via iPhone, iPad or from my Mac. Had a great tech conversation that lasted 2 hours, and indeed Apple is aware of the issue. Following day, it seemed to be fixed…..After working perfectly for less than an hour, suddenly stopped. I can stream from iPhone, iPad and Mac to HomePod speakers in several rooms…..but when I ask Siri to play from Music…..I get a response that there is ‘something wrong with my Apple account’. Which is strange as it works perfectly on the phone, iPad or Mac.

btw. The Tech checked that the HomePod software was up to date at14.5.

Same here since 14.5. I have tried every solution to previous similar issues, that I could find online. From resetting my Network Settings to various on/off states of settings on the Homepods themselves. Absolutely no joy. Artists that are patently on Apple Music, "I can't find that artist on Apple Music"... over and over. An infuriating two hours of trouble-shooting last night. fingers crossed for a quick patch from Apple.
