Ipad Having Trouble Restarting.

So, I turned on my ipad but the buttons were being extremely slow. I unlocked it and restarted it. It took a while to shut down, but now it keeps flashing with the apple logo and not turning on. I've also tried holding down the home button and power button but nothing works. How can I fix this?
