Old messages change date to current after reboot

Hello, I experience the below issue previously described by another user.

I've had this issue since I got my iphone 12 Pro a week ago. I originally did a transfer from Android to iOS, and everytime I reboot the phone, I get hundreds of contact names from messages I sent a month, 1 year, 2 years ago, all show up in my messages app with the send date matching the date and time of whenever I rebooted.

New messages are only shown after old once at the end of the list with actual date.

Running the latest OS 14.5, and always updated immediately when available.

I do not use VPN, date&time settings are set to automatic.

please help me to solve this as this is getting annoying.
