Music stops playing when asked to create a station

This is a bit complex so I'll get to the point. When my iPhone is playing music through my iPhone and I tap "Create a station", there are no problems. When my HomePod or Apple TV is playing music and from my iPhone I tap "Create a station", the music stops playing and removes all music from "Now Playing". When I ask Siri on my HomePod to "Create a station" while music is playing, it works fine. I have no idea what is going on does anyone have any idea. Also, my iPhone 12 is running iOS 14.5, and I have experienced numerous other bugs and issues since downloading so it may be a problem with that. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
