not getting 3440 x 1440 resolution on Macbook pro M1 13"

I have an M1 Macbook pro 13inch and am trying to get it to work with my Iiyama gb3461wqsu-b1.

I am using a SLIM 8-in-1 USB-C Hub with a minidisplayport to display-port cable. The cable is the same cable that I used on my previous Mid 2015 15 in MB pro on which it works

I am running big sur 11.3 which is supposed to have fixed USB C adapter issues with monitors but the result is still the same. The maximum resolution that is recognized is 2560 x 1440. And this is only when I option click on scaled in the monitor preferences.

I also tried running the monitor on HDMI, but the result is the same maximum resolution.

Has anyone else seen this issue?

Are there workarounds with third party software to get the full resolution of my monitor?
