Google photos

I downloaded google chrome to bring along my library of photos from android. But I don’t really want 2 copies of every photo I take ongoing- one in the google app and one in IPhoto. Can I block new photos from going into the google app?

Yes easy. Go to:

Settings -> Google Photos. Disable Camera and Photos.

When they are disabled, the app does not have access to your image, and therefore can not upload to the app.
