Messages Desktop App Will Not Open

My Messages App will not open at all. It keeps crashing and giving me this error message.

( I will paste the error message below).

Yes. I have tried everything I can think of or Google. Restarts. Unplugging the Mac Mini. PR RAM resets. Software Updates. Removing and deleting files from the Messages Library Folder.

I am a low level Mac Power User. I know most of the "tricks" and "Hidden" things about Macs and Apple.

I wish I could just reinstall the Messages App alone. But I have zero idea how to do that. It could be so simple. Please can anyone help? Is this another APFS Problem? I feel Helpless.

This problem Started in OS Catalina and Continued on into Big Sir. I'm done monkeying around.

Here is a copy of the error message:

Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSGenericException', reason: 'Unable to activate constraint with anchors <NSLayoutDimension:0x600001eef7c0 "CKUIWindow_60754894:0x7f8ae3727750.width"> and <NSLayoutDimension:0x600001eed980 "UILayoutContainerView:0x7f8ae521bf20.width"> because they have no common ancestor. Does the constraint or its anchors reference items in different view hierarchies? That's illegal.' terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException

Looks like you are having some trouble with Messages not being able to open. We want to make sure you are able to keep in touch with everyone!

Have you tested Messages in a new user account? If not, try that: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac. If you experience the same thing in a new user account, we'd like for you to start your Mac in safe mode next. The following support article will show you how to start in safe mode, as well as what additional steps you will need to take depending on whether the issue was or wasn't present in safe mode: How to use safe mode on your Mac.

If the issue didn't persist when you tested it in another user account, we recommend reaching out to Apple Support next: Get Support.

Thank you for your reply. The Messages App does work in my other users account fine. It is strange that that app was "corrupted" some how in my main user account. I could just set up a new account but that's seems like its going to be alot of work to set up another admin account even though its probably the fastest thing to do. For some reason I want to "fix" or replace the app itself and keep my account.
