Lock alarm volume

How do I get my alarm to go off at the same volume every day? I HATE that it is tied to the ringer volume. The two things have nothing to do with each other. Maybe I want my phone on silent but my alarm to still go off, or I turned my ringer up for some reason during the day and then my alarm is blasting me out of bed. Am I missing something???
