Can iPad communicate with nearby Apple Pencil?
I am working from home for the past two weeks and needed to use my Apple Pencil, which I thought I had left at my office. I was preparing to go get it when I opened the iPad and saw the message on screen: "Apple Pencil low battery", or words to that effect. Something like this:
Does that mean my Apple Pencil is actually here in my room somewhere? How could the iPad know about the pencil's battery if it were still at my office (a kilometer away)?
If that's a real-time status message then I guess I need to start cleaning my room to find my AP.
