M1 MacBook Air: small vertical line in Dock

I have a really small faint vertical line in my dock which is not going away?

I have macOS Big Sur (11.3) installed.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 11.1

We'd like for you to try the following steps and check to see if the line is still there after each one:

Close out of all open apps: Quit apps on Mac
Restart your Mac: How to turn your Mac on or off
Update to the latest version of macOS Big Sur (11.3.1): How to update the software on your Mac
