I have problems hearing when I recieve calls on my iphone XR I can only hear on speaker phone or with ear buds in. Any one else have this issue.

the speaker could be damaged, but first thing lets tries and cleans it first use a cotton bud etc, not water. (although you can but do not use much as this could damage your phone) if this doesn't work then play a video on your phone make sure the video is playing in landscape mode does any sound come out the side of the phone you would put up to your ear?
