Renaming desktops
Can you change the name of desktops instead of them being Desktop 1, Desktop 2, etc? Im running Big Sur.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. We're happy to help with changing the names on the desktop. If you're referring to the multiple desktop option known as "Spaces," you aren't able to rename those. You can find out more about that feature here: Work in multiple spaces on Mac
If are you wanting to rename the folders on your desktop that are labeled "Desktop"? If so, you can right click on each folder and click "Rename". After entering the preferred name, press Return on the keyboard. You can get more info on renaming folders here:
