Audiobooks

That answer in the link does not relate to my issue. Audiobooks on the Mac Pro, Big Sur. The duplicates in the Books app occur all of a sudden, even if I have not used the app. And the cover of the audiobooks or even the titles and authors change; and it's very difficult to edit any wrong information except by deleting and starting again. The individual chapters for audiobooks are often separated into individual "audiobooks". Even if I go to the folders/files on Containers, that does not resolve the issue completely. Chapters not only duplicate, but often become separate albums with the new iBooks. Books. The audiobooks are easy to delete from the other devices, but editing is different. Deleting anything on iPhone or iPad pro the Mac has never been a problem. This is a pesky issue that I realize started when iTunes died and iMusic and IBooks were born. Hopefully in the near future the issues will be resolved. But thank you for your input. I guess my question was not clear.
