Safari not working with Mobile data

I have an iPhone 12 Pro, using iOS 14.5 (latest). I have unlimited mobile data which is ON. Roaming is ON. Safari is ON for using mobile data but when I am out of the house and without WiFi, I cannot get any websites - only the message that Safari cannot connect to the server. I don’t think I am doing anything different to what I did with previous iPhones (4, 6 and 8) and I did not have this problem with them.

I have gone through everything in Settings in case there is something new which I have overlooked but to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14

Hello isabella60,

It sounds like safari doesn't work on your iPhone when connected to cellular data as it says it cannot connect to the server.

As this sounds like a network issue, here are some additional settings and resources that might help:

As it relates to your network, check for any of the following, uninstall it and try again. Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

(Note: if you don't have any, you may not see these options in Settings.)

You may also want to contact your wireless carriers to check for any blocks or restrictions on their end. You can locate your wireless carrier contact information by clicking on their name here Wireless carrier support and features for iPhone.

Hope this information helps.

Have a good day.
