I noticed on 14.5.1 Siri cuts out when she is responding to a question I asked I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem

My father has the second Generation iPhone SE same problem with Siri cutting out on IOS 14.5.1. So far I have fixed it with using reset all settings. Doing that resets all settings with no lose of data you will have to turn Location services back on and sign back in to your Wi-Fi connection.
iPhone 11 Pro. Erased phone to factory settings. Did not restore from backup. Clean install which is pain. Reset car stereo to factory settings. Still not fixed. Echoing what a few others gave said, CarPlay is essentially useless right now…
Yup same problem. Good to hear it’s not just me. Downloading 14.6 now to see if that is the fix…
Siri actually works fine when pressing the home button and talk to Siri but then when you use Hey Siri it doesn’t really work that well and cutting out. Hope to have this fixed.
I’m totally with you on the safety concerns. My Ford has the ability to read messages (most manufacture have the ability), but not send them. It’d be a nice workaround if Apple would allow the Bluetooth profile to allow cars to send messages if they can’t get Siri to work reliably.
WARNING!!: This has seemed to have fixed the problem, But you will have to reset all passwords and facial recognition settings, all info in your wallet will be lost. It’s an ordeal to restore everything.
Weirdly mine has started working this afternoon.
The only thing that’s happened is a trip to my local Apple store but my visit was unrelated to my phone. Siri in the car home was reading texts and replies. It’s still working now.
I’ll keep an eye on it.
I am sorry you had to go through all that but I am glade it fixed the problem. Lucky for me my father has second generation IPhone so I didn’t have to do anything but turn Location services back on and fix the weather widget.

No, but I have the Verizon call block app.
Try removing that and see if things go back to normal.
It’s happening in my 2021 Kia XCeed too. I hope they fix it soon

Yes, same issue here on iPhone 11. Siri responses/directions are constantly cutting off. This also results in the inability to respond to/confirm some commands as well.
Yes, this has been happening constantly in Carplay and I've reset everything more than once with no luck.
