We want to be sure we fully understand what you'd like to do so we can help. Are you attempting to share photos between your Mac and iPad? If so, Set up and use iCloud Photos will walk you through how to keep your photos and videos stored in iCloud and up to date across your devices.

Thank you Chris. I have a photos library on my iPad which cloud shares to my phone. I sometimes transfer favourite camera photos to my iPad/iPhone so I can share them with friends. I may then want to know whether the photo is an iPhone photo or a camera photo and lens details etc. Can I do this on the iPad?
