How do I remove Apple wallet restriction? Won’t let me access app

I’m not able to access my wallet it says need to lift or remove restrictions?

Thank you for posting on Apple Support Communities and providing that screenshot.


From the looks of it, seems like your device may have restrictions set up. There are two possibilities here.


  1. Your device may have a configuration profile which manages the restrictions on your phone. These profiles usually are installed if your iPhone is provided and managed by your employer or maybe a school. If this is the case, you will not be able to remove the restrictions yourself, you will need to speak to those managing your device profile.
  2. You may have Screen Time Restrictions set up in the Settings of your device. If this is the case, you should be able to go into Settings - Screen Time - Content & Privacy Restrictions and turn them off. Or tap 'Turn Off Screen Time' to completely remove it. If your Screen Time is managed by someone else's device you will have to have them turn it off for you.
