Can I back up one user of a Mac

I'm excited to be waiting on the M1 iMac. My current iMac has 3 accounts on it. Is there a way to back up using Time Machine to only back up one account to the new machine.

Nope, Time Machine backs up everything. However if you don't want to have one (or more) of the accounts you can remove them.
