12 pro max's brightness drops randomly

brightness drops randomly for what it seems like 50% of original brightness while auto brightness is turned off and True Tone Is also turned off with manual brightness is 100% this happens mostly when the phone is even slightly warm, I I am emphasising on the word warm and not hot , and the brightness reduction is not linear it is abrupt and feels like a lag rather than gradual decrease(Like what happens when auto brightness is turned on but again it's off)

This did not happen with my 11 promax.

I have read on the forums and this issue is very persistent and only with 12 series phones I have had a discussion with support centre they said there is a hardware problem with the phone and it needs to be replaced but I don't think this is a hardware issue because my friends are having the same issue with 12 pro and pro max not that they knew of until I pointed it out this is a software issue and I want people to note of that and please comment on if you are facing the same issue so that Apple looks into it.

I cant take this mediocre attention to detail by apple not when i paid $2147(USD) for it.
