macbook air M1 Heating Issue

Hello there .

I recently bought macbook air M1 ,

and now I noticed that it is simply overheating even when I browsing through safari .

I checked temperature on TG PRO

and it shows CPU performance core package 93-94 degree Celsius .

Help me fix this .

Have you tried Opening the Activity Monitor >> View >> View ALL Processes. There could be a Run-Away Process or Application consuming a lot of CPU power and or Memory. Check the tab for CPU for unusually large CPU usage and do the same in Memory tab. At least you can identify what is causing the heating issue. Perhaps an incompatible Application was installed or Worse - a Cleaning Application or AntiVirus Application. Both should be removed as per Developers Instructions.

You may want to take it to an Apple Store or an Authorized Apple

Service Provider and have it checked out as there could be a

mechanical issue with the heatsinking and attachment to the

processor,


FWIW, I do some much more taxing tasks on my M1 MacBook Air

and rarely see temps get to 70C, There may be spikes that are

higher bit they are short lived.
