Hi,
I just upgraded my network to gigabit and running speed tests my iMac is always running slowly <100MB/s.
I finally narrowed it down to Chrome and Edge browsers. Safari runs the speed test at over 900MB/s.
Safari is not my preferred browser, does anyone know how I might fix this?

You are absolutely correct. I can’t use the FIOS speed test as I’m outside the US, but switching from Speedtest.net to another service showed the full speed of my connection on Edge.
FWIW, if you are using speedtest.net, apparently chromium-based browsers do not like it. Chrome using FIOS speed test.
Just as a note this is only Edge on MacOS, on Windows they all worked equally as well as each other.
You're welcome. I did try speedtest.net using Chrome before I posted. It was one fourth the speed I get on FIOS and fast.com.
