iPad AppleCare+ extends coverage for how long?

OK, I give up trying to find how long the fixed term AppleCare + plan extends coverage. The AppleCare pages on Apple.com USED to tell you what the extended period was by device; i.e., 3 yrs for Mac, 2 yrs for phone, etc. Now all I can find is a statement to the effect "the coverage period will be on your receipt" in the AppleCare+ Terms & Conditions?

I have to buy it before I can know how long it will last? I KNOW that can't be correct!

Can anybody tell me the URL of the page that lists the length of the extension of the coverage period for a fixed-term iPad AppleCare+ plan? Or just tell me the length of the coverage extension if you know it?

The fixed term for AppleCare+ is two-years total with the option to make monthly payments to extend coverage until Apple, officially, stops fully supporting the device.

Which means, as long as you pay a monthly fee AFTER the initial two-year period, you can have additonal 3-4 more years of warranty coverage.
