Video lagging in iPhone 12 Pro

When i am watching video on Netflix or apple tv app on iPhone 12 pro, there is sudden drop of frame, the video is not playing smoothly. I don’t play games so there isn’t anything in background consuming high memory. Anyone else facing same issue?

Since noticing this have you had a chance to connect to a different network? If not, give that a try to find out if the issue is related to the network your iPhone is connected to. There are additional steps to try in this article: About iOS performance on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

Hi Karina184,


Thank you for the response. I tried switching to other network. Also all the app are updated, i even tried reinstalling, but still i am facing the issue.

Also battery health is at 100% as i have barely used this phone. More than 230 GB space is available.

Current OS version is 14.5.1.

Please help it’s really frustrating.
