why is my apple tv+ library empty

I’ve tried logging in and out my account, switching on and off my phone, uninstalling & reinstalling the app, unsubscribing & resubscribing the shows multiple times. Nothing seems to help. And my iOS is up to date.


Any advice?

Yes, you are only entitled to use that account while you are residing in that location. You would need to transition the account to the new location. Also, there will be regions that don't have access to particular services

Ah..sorry for the confusion. I mean I unsubscribed/resubscribed the drama. Not the whole Apple TV+ :D So I’m still having the free trial at the moment. Thanks for reminding though.

However, I’ve already tried to log out and back in my Apple account several times. And it’s still empty. Checked my phone région setting of my phone is the same as that of my account. Although it’s different from where I’m actually located at the moment (because I’ve moved to another country, but the account was created before that). Not sure if it will cause this issue.

The weird thing is, I can watch the drama with that Apple ID, so I guess that means I have no problem using the service, even though the region settings of the account is not the same as my actual location. Just that it doesn’t show any of my saved drama in the library.


Unless they let you watch their shows but not allowing you to use the library of the location settings is incorrect. 🤔

Oh..okay. Thanks for letting me know :)

But if my family members’ accounts at the same region settings as my account was first made (my home town, country A), if I change my account to another region (the actual location that I am at, country B), will it affect their access to Apple TV+ plan?

I am asking this because I tried to add one of my siblings as my family members, and the account he has was created in another location (not my home town, i.e. different from my account original region, country C), and he was not able to watch it for free as I do. :(
