I am trying to delete my Amazon Kindle App from my iphone. The App store won't fully delete it, saying it is still open, but it then doesn't reinstall for use. Any suggestions?

iPhone 6s, iOS 14

Go to Settings/Screen Time/Content & Privacy Restrictions/iTunes & App Store Purchases - Change Deleting Apps to Allow.

Then you didn’t change the setting correctly. Check it again. Then delete the app, restart the phone, and add the app back.

Thank you, but this did not work. App store is still showing kindle loaded.
