iPhone camera has too much exposure by default

How do you reset ALL camera settings to default, especially exposure? Photos are way over exposed by default, and it used to be just fine. It's like a camera app changed settings that mess with exposure in the main camera app.

iOS 14.02

iPhone SE

Preserve Settings is useless.

Hey Jesse, Thanks for posting your question about resetting your camera settings in the Apple Support Communities! Whenever the camera application is closed the settings for the camera automatically reset and adjust to your current lighting conditions. You can try checking for updates to your iPhone to see if an update resolves your issues. You can find steps to check for updates by following the article: Update iOS on iPhone

Best wishes.
