Exposure

Still photo and video of same scene results in beautiful video exposure and darker still exposure. This question was asked earlier and no meaningful answer was given. I don’t want to have to adjust exposure every time I use the camera

Sorry I'm no expert. Apologies if the ideas below are too simplistic for your level of expertise.


Would it help to "play" with iPhone's camera settings (advanced settings are on by default)

to see if a different setting (off) helps at all?

Save camera settings on iPhone

(ie: so they’re not reset when you next open Camera.)

  • NB: Exposure Adjustment: Save the exposure control setting (on iPhone 11 and later).
