Refund

I took my MacBook to Apple to get it repaired but they refused to repair it because I did not have proof of purchase. I got sent my MacBook back along with my refund of $615 for the repair. But before my computer arrived my card was billed for $293 so I called Apple to make sure what it was for. They said it was for the repair. I told them it was never repaired and they said I’d get a refund in 24-48 hours but it’s been a week and nothing. I keep calling Apple and they insist they canceled the transaction but I can clearly see on my bank statement that it went through.

After you request a refund you'll receive a status update by email within 48 hours. If your request is granted, the money is returned to the payment method you used. The time it takes for the money to appear on your account or statement depends on the payment method:

- Store credit (e.g., Apple ID balance): 48 hours

- Mobile phone billing (payment through your phone service carrier): Up to 60 days

- Other payment methods (e.g., credit/debit card): Up to 30 days for it to appear on a statement.
