Hello, I have deleted my trash. And I have released that I deleted a specific document I need by mistake. Is there a way I could recover this? I have tried the Time Machine back up but it does not work

What to Try:
A. Where Else to Look:
Look in other storage locations (i.e. USB Flash Drive, External Hard Drive, iCloud, eMails, etc.).
B. Check: "Open Recent"
C. Use Spotlight Search:
[Hold Down: command + spacebar]. Then, type the name of the file, seeing if it pops up.
But, if it is gone, it is gone. That's just the way it is :(
