Beats Flex keep disconnecting from iPad.

So I got my Beats Flex a couple days ago. It seems like the autopause feature is working well, but not the autoplay. After Beats ale clipped for a few minutes they don't autoplay, I have to manually press the play button on my iPhone. On my iPad however everytime i unclip them after a few minutes they seem to be disconnected and even the play button doesn't work. I have to wake up the iPad and then they connect very fast and start playing music. How can I fix this issue? I'm using the latest iOS 14.5.1 on both devices.

It really makes me confused, because without these features I can't feel any advantages of the Apple chip over any other random wireless earbuds.
