Hello, i recently started using midi controllers with GarageBand on my iPad. I noticed that my Arturia Microfreak can control pitch bend in GB but my Akai MPK Mini Play cannot. The Mini Play has a Joystick instead of a slider (touch pad on the Microfreak) to use pitch bend. Is there any way to make this work in GarageBand?
I guess unplugging and replugging the usb connection made it work? I noticed that using the pitch bend in Korg Gadget LE worked fine, after reconnecting the Mini Play. Then when i went back to test it in GarageBand it appears to be working, but across the opposite axis from the usual standalone functions of the keyboard.
Hey, I’m not sure if this is a solution but maybe you’ll need to turn this on.
What this will do is enable multidimensional controllers.
