can i display a macbook 16 2020 with touch bar on an imac 2015?

I just received a new work MacBook from my company and I am wondering how can I display the MacBook on my iMac. (MacBook pro 16 inches 2019 to iMac 5k retina 27 inches late 2015)

OK, but it won’t work. Please see: Use your iMac as a display with target display mode - Apple Support. You need an iMac 2014 or older.

Dear Jack,

I just spoke with an apple official and he confirmed that using

Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter with my thunderbolt cable will be solving the problem while

using the target display mode.
