On THIS page https://discussions.apple.com/terms the link was DEFINITELY not in blue!

I copied the link and inserted it into my address bar and erroneously picked up the the full stop. You were eagle-eyed to spot that Roger! ✅

But ...... there's ALWAYS a reason for everything. This is what I did ...... after removing Apple cookies from Safari.

I first went here ….

https://www.apple.com/uk/

then here ….

https://support.apple.com/en-gb

Scroll to bottom of the page and then clicked on

Apple Support Communities Terms of Use

To reach here ….

https://discussions.apple.com/terms

SHOULD the link on the first page have been in blue (live)?

Thanks if you can explain.

It's not broken - in your original post the full stop is included in the link, which renders the URL invalid (this isn't the case in the page you found the link it - you copied it but included the stop). Your recent post includes the link correctly and this works.

You can copy a link safely by control-clicking on it and choosing 'Copy link' or equivalent. This also applies when text contains a link.
