Can you use AirPlay to mirror iPhone screen to Mac?

Can you use AirPlay to mirror iPhone screen to Mac? I found info on how to mirror iPhone and Mac to capable TV's but not iPhone to Mac.

Sharon419, your Airplay article only appears to apply to mirroring to a TV, not to a Mac. Am I missing something?

6x6, the Business Insider instructions worked great. iPhone mirrored on my Mac screen perfectly. But then when I tried using the iOS Netflix app to watch a downloaded show on my Mac, both screens went completely dark. I could see the player controls at the bottom of both screens and the timecode advancing but over a dark screen. A little research suggested restarting my phone, which worked briefly before it went dark again. Apparrently Netflix recognizes the issue and is working on a fix. Guess I'll have to wait. Anyway thanks!

Anyone else have any other suggestions?

Is there some reason you cannot watch Netflix directly on your Mac (instead of sending it from your phone to the Mac)?

I'm hoping to mirror downloads on plane rides. Netflix and other steeaming services will only allow DL's to iOS devices.
