Turn off auto fill security SMS messages

Hey there,

How do I turn off or reset the auto fill of OTP text messages on my iPhone? The function isn’t working on my phone. This creates the situation that my iPhone doesn’t prompt the code nor I can find them in my messages.

It concerns an iPhone XR running on iOS 14.5 and 2013 MacBook Air running the latest OSX.

Hi,

I think you actually can’t disable this option

However, you can stop receiving security SMS messages on your MacBook:

On your iPhone, go to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding - then turn off your MacBook (please note it will disable the forwarding of all your messages, not just security sms)

Hi Remi,

Thanks for the fast response! That’s unfortunate to hear… are there any other solutions in that case? I’ve turned off the forwarding option but that doesn’t seemed to help.
