Unable to delete Mail account under accounts

I am trying to delete an account from settings > Mail> accounts. All accounts are disabled for modification or deletion in this section

We understand now that your mail account delete buttons are not working and it maybe because of Content & Privacy Restrictions being enabled. Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > Account Changes needs to be set to Allow so that you can delete mail accounts. 


Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch


If you still have problems try to check to see if you have a configuration profile installed on your device removing the profile may allow removal of the email account. To remove a configuration profile from your iOS device go to Settings > General > Profiles & Device Management.

How to remove your email account from your iOS device: 


1. Go to Settings > Mail, then tap Accounts.


3. Tap the email account that you want to remove.


4. Tap Delete Account.


If you can’t send email on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


How to remove an email account from Mac: 


“1. In the Mail app on your Mac, choose Mail > Preferences, then click Accounts.


2. Select an account, then click the Remove button.”
