You simply plug it in to one of the ports on your Mac. The point of the adapter is to change one of the ports on your Mac to a different type of port, i.e Adapts the port on your Mac to something else.


If your USB adapter does not have a connector that can plug into a port on your Mac, then you have the wrong adapter.


What exactly are you trying to connect? What adapter are you using?
