Relentless issue 0.5 lens cannot be activated

Greetings,

I know this has been touched upon and have read what I was able to find on it,but I thought I’d reach out and see if anyone has found a resource to fix this issue. The 0.5 ultra wide lens on ,y iPhone 12 Pro Max I’d not allowing access. In other words, it’s simply gone altogether when in standard photo mode but does appear as an option in time lapse,slo mo and pano but will not allow to switch to it. Verizon has now sent me another due to this issue and believe it or not, it’s doing exactly the same thing straight out of the packaging! I lent over an hour on the phone with Apple support ,even speaking with a senior tech and the only advice was to bring it in to a store for troubleshooting. I’m spending more time trying to figure out this issue on a flagship Apple device than I’ve ever s-ent on dealing with any Apple related issues. A key factor for getting this version iPhone for its absurd price was the camera and it’s nothing but a pita. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for any advice.
